302 Transmission and Transfer case set up

I am looking to swap a carbed high out put 302 into my 91 4runner and not sure what transmission and transfer case to go with. I would like to put another five speed behind it and am just not sure the stock one will handle it. And as for the transfer case I guess I will just need to have something that will bolt up the the transmission what ever transmission that will be. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was told to use the ford trany c-4. \something about issues if you do not. there are adapters to mate toyota transfer case and make it so no drive shaft mods are needed since the ford trany is shorrter.
