Daystar Spare Tire Fuel/Water Cans

These were featured at the SEMA show in Las Vegas yesterweek.

They are suppose to fit both Toyota and Jeep spare tires.
You can use just one, or put on two cans.
They are 2.5 gallons each.

Info from Daystar.

I plan on getting a few of these to try out if I can locate where/when to buy them.

No pink for me Brian, not even a pink shirt or tie in my closet.

2.5 gallons is not to dinky.
I think I would get two for potable water when camping.
The more I think about it, I really do not need one for fuel.

More info, Daystar got back to me earlier this morning.
Good morning Corey,
We are just getting settled in after the SEMA Show.
We are sheduled to start shipping the Green and Blue Can Cam kits December 1st. (Note: the Green Cans are made from the same Material as the RED. The blue are designed for carrying Water)
We are waiting for our CARB Certificate on the RED Gas Cans. It looks like they will be sihpping in the USA around April.
We will be shipping the Red Can Cams outside the country (i.e. Canada), so I will let you know who is going to be stocking them.
I will get back to you with a list of dealers in Washington.
4 Wheel Parts has two locations that will be stocking them.
Corey
Here is a list of stores that stock Daystar Products. Keep in mind, they will not have the Can Cam Kits yet, since we won't be shipping them until after Deceber 1st.
Compeitition Specialties and Accord Distributors are two of our stocking warehouses in Washington. They might have a larger list of dealers in Washington as well.
I will get back to you with the list of guys in Canada that will be stocking them.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Craig

So it looks like the blue and green ones will be available less than a month from now.
I wrote back to see if the green ones can be used for water too, I do not know that for sure since the material is the same as the red fuel can.

PS, they are quick to wrote back to me
Yes the Green Can's can be used for water as well as solvents and fuel.

Scratch the green ones for water.
If you are going to use these for potable or drinking water, you must use the blue ones.

The green and red ones will not work for water.
