I have some un-identifiables on the 4runner. I don't know what some of these are, or I don't know if they are necessary and I can just cap off the lines.

It is melted and runs into a bolt. What is it?



Believe this is a charcoal canister? It has a tube that goes out about 5 inches and stops. What is it? Needed?



Where does this connector go?



This appears to have the in and out line capped off but still has something else running to it. What is it?

 

Anyone?

 

Good plan to get a hanes or chilton book for pickups and 4runners. I believe the 22re has most those parts as well.

 

i think the first one is your pcv but if the engine runs fine with out all that then i wouldnt worry about that lol

 

Its all part of your EGR system. not essential
