Been wanting to do this since i got the 4runner,and finally found 04 Tacoma center console on Ebay for cheep in great condition and same color!! VERY EASY TO DO!

 

So...what did you do? No pix are showing!

 

removed my center console out of my 92 4runner,and rear heater and replaced it with the tacoma console and it has cup holders and looks like it came stock! trying to upload pics but can figure out how from photobucket!!

2001-2004 will work,75 bucks used on ebay. brand new from toyota they are 275!

 

You removed the rear heater completely? Looped the lines? Looks awesome sir. Everytime I ride in my pops 04 taco I think about using one of those consoles. Its ten times better.

 

yes sir removed it completely,and looped the lines.so much more storage and it sits a little higher which is perfect!!

 

That's sweet man. I just drove the 04 yesterday and was thinking to myself I bet I could make it fit. It has two big compartments instead of one small one and best of all cupholders. I hate spilling my soda all over the floor cause my floor sitting cupholder fails with huge drinks.
Is that the rear window switch right under the shifter?

 

ya had an 02 tacoma till it was stolen! and always thought that it would fit in my 4runner,watched ebay and craigslist for like 8 months lol and finally found one!! ya the cup holders are awesome to!
