Anyone cut a fuel pump access panel in their hilux?

Anyone cut a fuel pump access panel in their hilux?
I'm about to fix the fuel pump and am going to cut a hole under the back passenger seat rather than drop the tank. Has anyone done this? Can you tell me where to center the hole and how big?

The fuel tank is located behind the cab. At least it is on my US version Japan built 92 Xtra cab, but you said HILUX? On mine it was easiest is to remove the bed. Don't punch a hole in your cab!! This pic should help 
Try a search, but I don't recall reading about it. Certain 4 runners have a removeable panel, I believe.
