Motor Swap, Head Gaskets, etc no power

Picked up a 97 3.4 Auto 4 runner. Needed a Head gasket. Then I picked up a used motor with a 1st gen super charger off a wrecked 98. New motor ended up needing a head gasket and had a cracked head. I had the old heads (97) cleaned pressure checked and machined. Put everything back together, after figuring out how to install 3.4 Cams. Motor cranked up runs good. Revs smooth in neutral and park. But as soon as I put it in gear it bogs down loosing all power and almost killing the motor. MAF is a new reman known to be good. Any thoughts?

Ive looked at vacuum diagrams pretty sure Ive got all those correct. But if someone has a GOOD 1st gen supercharger vac diagram it would be appreciated. (Ive already seen the ones found under a search)

Look at this thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/1...-guide-182220/

I posted the full 1st gen SC install manual. The last page is the vacuum diagram.

Sure you are not out of gas?

It does sound like a vacuum leak in the system, i would go over it very careful. You got a 1 way valve and installed it on the line under the TB right?

Just put 5 gal in it... Ckd for vacuum leaks with Carb cleaner. Didnt find any, I figured It would have to be a major leak to act like this.
The valve I am not sure about. I know there is one there, need to ck and make sure its a one way.

Well if the 1 way valve is installed correctly and you can't find any leaks via other methods then build yourself a boost leak tester (search google) and test for leaks like that using an air compressor.

Also you replaced the fuel filter right?
