Rear Leaf spring question

I just got through installing Pro comp 4" springs on the front of my truck and am fixing to do the rear. The front springs were 56 bucks. Pro comps rear springs (4") are 106 bucks. I was wondering if I could save money and just buy another set of front springs and install them to the rear. I don't care if I have to cut and relocate perches if the front and rear are different lengths. My question is more on spring rates.... I'm assuming the rear stock springs are beafier to allow for towing. But the truck is strictly off road and I would rather have softer springs...Can anyone please advise or at least point me in the right direction. See my website for pics www.usmetalfab.com I'll upload some pics of the front shortly. BTW, I took the truck out with just the front lifted baja style to try out the springs and for 56 bucks a piece, I was impressed!

Thanks guys,
Mike

Rear springs are longer and not centered like the front (front half is shorter than the rear half):

Plus the front springs are actually a stiffer rate than the rears.

rear springs are longer and softer front springs have to hold the weight of the engine and cab. Try 63" chevies with a 5 or 6 inch shackle should give you the lift you're looking for

spring question

Hey, Thanks fellas. That was all I needed to know. I figured I would have to relocate perches but since the spring rate is stiffer than I obviously dont want to go that route!
