I put a 1994 22re out of a 2wheel drivepickup, into my 1985 4X4 pickup. I used the 1985 wireing harness and brain. the motor cranks and idles great, but when you accelerate, the engine stalls then accelerates, then continues this cycle as long as you hold the accelerator. This is at low or high rpm.
I have reset the throttle position sensor, changed EGR valve, and rechecked all vaccumm hoses, still no change. If anyone has any ideas on how to solve this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Double K

 

Did you use the 85 injectors or the 94 injectors ? The voltage is differant, switching the plugs for the injectors won't work.
