2007 Tacoma R&R 1GR-FE Engine Assembly w/o Removing 6MT?
I'm about to do an R&R on the 1GR-FE engine for my 2007 Tacoma 4X4 V6 6MT. I can save a few hours of labor by not performing the transmission R&R as per the manual.
I'm sure there's a good reason why they call for the transmission removal but I can't tell if it's essential.
Anyone know if it's possible and if it's a good/bad idea?
