92 4runner wont start all the time.

92 4runner wont start all the time.
I have a 1992 Toyota 4runner it used to run great until one time while deer hunting. My dad and cousin messed with some wires then it started. Had to tow it home that january. Took and changed to feul pump, distributer cap, and rotor. then it fired up only when we took and squirted gas directly in. Changed to module in the fuse boxs under the hood. Then i started it to move it so we could reweld the Oxygen sensor. Started right up then got it on a tralier shut it off. got the where we needed to be. It didnt start again, about a month later went to tow it to a farm to leave it there. It started up and then it ran well. havent tried since what could be the problem. we are thinking it might be the wiring harness under fuse box under the hood. any one have any ideas?
