Good Deal for 1st Gen

I do realize that this belongs in the classiified feeler section but I have limited posts and less than 15 days to decide on this truck so if a mod can move this or delete if you feel necessary (please don't).

OK, here goes:

-1986
-22RE
-3 owners
-Manual 4x4
-198,000 miles
-Good body
-Typical underbody rust
-33 BFG's
-3" Trailmaster lift
-New bilstein shocks (1 year old)
-added leaf in the rear upper A arm extensions in front
-Brakes and brake lines replaced (1 year old)
-New exhaust, hoses, wires and plugs (1 year old)
-Timing chain and clutch have been replaced (not sure but current owner has owned since 127k)
-New JVC stereo with HD radio, usb and minijack on the face. new Polk Audio marine speakers in the front and back. diamond plate accents and panels all over.
-bushwhacker fenders flares
-Crash bar with skid plate on front
-Newer rear bumper

Issues
-cracked windshield
-no spare
-no AC
-rear window periodically works
-No interior carpet (was hoping for at least passenger carpet)
-Interior door panels missing
-Plastic vents behind drivers and passenger side doors missing

Test drove it (in the rain) and it drove fine although I forgot to test out the 4x4. Located in Northeast. Didn't check service records but he claims to have a lot of records. Engine looked fine, didn't appear to have any leaks.

This would just be a weekend toy (little to no offroad) and perhaps on Fridays to work and back. Basically just a fun family convertible, except in truck form. I have a DD honda accord already and my wife has a gen4 runner which I will get back when we get a mini-van next year.

Asking $3,500.

Might would be a little high in this area, but in the Norteast, probably a fair price. The repair issues arent bad. I got a fairly good write up on the rear window. My guess is the switch is just full of grime.

Doing the carpet isnt hard to do. I have had mine out and it is easy. Need to fid a replacement. Windshield here goes about $200

It has a nice setup and to do all of that might would justify the price for it. If you like it I would go for it.
