Help making a decision

My father in-law called this morning wanting to know if I wanted to buy his 4Runner. It blew a head gasket 2 years ago and has sat since. He had the heads redone but never put it back together, and he said the engine had been rebuilt sometime but he isn't sure when. It has 130k miles, new tires and he says it shifts good (automatic). The clear coat is peeling and there is one dent above the tail light. He said I can have it for $1500. The only problem is I already have a 93 that is sas'd with a 5.3 that I cant seem to sell. Is there any money in parting these out?

IMO the 4runner is worth 500-$750.
My neice recently bought a very nice condition 94 4Runner 3.0 auto with about 170k on it for 1500

That's about what I was thinking. I tried to buy it a few months ago to put rockwells in for a mud truck and he told me $4000, when I couldn't sell mine for 4000 with a brand new motor and less miles. Ill wait a few more weeks and see if he will come down to a more reasonable price. If he does ill part out everything but the body, put some 2.5's in it and probably a 6.0
