does anyone know if a w56 out of an 86 pickup will fit in my 87 4runner? im pretty sure 86 was the w56-b top shift, same as mine so i didnt think it would be a problem but someone told me that the w56 for the pickup is slightly different from the 4runner trans. this fall i will start the build on my 87 but i need to get the transmission replaced first.
