........I have 90 4×4. The speedmeter not working. If I spin cable.. it works. Does anyone know where I can get the part that goes in end of transfer case.this is mechanical not electrical. Lastly is the nylon gear supossed to be hour glass shaped? any help plzzzzzzz.... thxxxx

there are many different gears for these trucks, that one in the pic is for the RWD, but it looks similar to yours

your gear is obviously broken and you need a new one... just buy it from the dealer, unless you can find the exact same thing at your local junk yard... buying a used one from anywhere else will cost as much as buying a new one, but it is an option... look in the sticky thread that has a list of places for used parts
