I was hoping to get a little direction of where to look. I let a young man install 1uz in my 88 runner. It appears he did a good job on the engine install. Ther are some minor issues but I am confident in resolving them. I have one major problem with the clutch and tranny that I am not cofident with. He was supposed to use my original tranny and didn't(the installed one is junk). He fabrcateded a plate instead of using a bell housing. The slave cilynder bracket was also fabricated by him but I am not sure if they are the cause of the clutch problems or not. I am not sure where to start since he is no longer available and it is now all up to me to get it working. I have just rebuilt my original 5 spd and have it ready to install. I assume I should remove the old one and see what clutch and parts I have. Other than that I am not sure where to look to confirm or find the right parts. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions of what threads, parts, persons, websites or any direction someone has on this forum. Thanks
