i'm not sure if anyone else is running those BKR7E's here. I've got the IK22 that I bought through Amazon. I know Toyota dealers should carry the IK22's but at a higher price. The little ricer/import performance shops may even have them too if you have any around you.

i got is all installed last night with the bkr7e . runs great, Where i installed it is about 35 miles from my house. on the drive back , my mpg seemed better, needle barely moved which is amazing considering the new supercharger testing lol. and doing 60-70 on the highway, where before it would downshift run 4000rpm to maintain speed up a hill, was able to stay under 3k and not downshift.

My MPG actually went up after installing the supercharger.

The BKR7E are ok plugs, they don't last that long, don't be surprised if they only last a few thousand miles.

I have ran them in my truck and do run them in my 400hp mr2. I am actually trying out a little hotter plug a bkr6e since i could not find any 7 series plugs locally, they are working fine for me but i have meth injection.

I think i like the IK20 or 22 plugs better (not done much heat range testing with them yet but colder is not always better) due to the dual electrodes. our ignitions systems like to eat plugs and the duel tips make them last a lot longer.

What is your mod list? What are you using for fuel? What pulley?

No list really. its all the factory stuff. original pulley. i didnt really plan on supercharging, i just found a great deal on a 2nd gen supercharger on craigslist and bolted it on. tomorrow i am doing the driver side exhaust manifold gasket , it leaked before the supercharger and now is worse i think. it will probably be a bigger job that putting the supercharger on it looks like. I want to do fuel mods, just cant afford a urd or trd kit. i am looking into the meth injection you suggested.I found those plugs at advance , less than 2 bucks a piece. i couldnt find ik22 anywhere local and realy wanted to go ahead and put it on last night.

Till you do the fuel mods be careful with the go pedal, it will lean out and hot summer temps + no fuel mods + bad tank of gas can = problems.

The meth injection is really great, the only catch is finding a supply of methanol locally as ordering it can be hard unless you have room for a 55 gallon drum. It is not hard to find though, i can get it at no less then 6 - 8 places locally for around $3- $4 a gallon.

How long it lasts will vary a LOT depending on how you drive. On a road trip it can last 3 tanks of gas and only use half a tank (~3/4 gallon). Around town when i feel like teaching ricers a lesson, i can use a gallon in a tank of gas.

Far as road trips, like i showed in that thread i linked to, blue washer fluid is fine as a get you by measure and even pure water will work perfectly safe if you can't get anything else to get you home.

Can also use a bigger tank such as a 5 gallon tank and then not have to worry about it at all, i just use the factory washer fluid container myself so i can hold about 1.5 gallons at a time. I actually have a 2.5 gallon sumped meth tank for sale if you wanted more.
