3 VZE valve clearance

Im wondering wether or not to change a few valve shims. According to the FSM the minimum exhaust clearance (lobe to valve shim) is .009 inches. Three of my valves are right at .009. I have read that it is better to have them a bit loose then too tight. Also one of my intake valves is right at the max clearance, .011 inches. Any opinions?

Try swapping the shims on those two that are on the edge.

You should still be ok either way. Too loose IS better, as when these wear they actually get TIGHTER.
