Just finished a rebuild. I reconnected everything from the wiring harness, which seemed pretty straight forward, until I got to the oil pressure sender. The wire doesn't reach, by a lot (4" or so) now I'm questioning everything. See pics. Any advice???

 

 

I'm assuming from what Ive read here, directly below the oil filter in the first pic is the oil pressre dummy switch. All the other wires from the harness were really straight forward, almost plugging themselves in from so many years in the same position, but this doesn't make sense.

Please help, I may go crazy soon

 

There is another wire that goes in between there.

 

like an extension from the gauge to the one I have hanging?
