BJ spacers W/ low pro BUMP stops

hey guys, I'm going to install some BJ spacers this week and noticed that the directions recommended stock size bump stops. Well I chucked those in the trash and put in low pros (still stock droops). instead a while back. So here's my thinking, tell me if it makes seance.

The CV joints shouldn't see any different angle under compression with or without BJ spacers. Yes?

now, I'm trying to figure out if the upper ball joints will see any increased angle with low pros but cant seem to imagine it (its loud at home) I think it would though

anybody wanna chime in?

I ran low profile bump stops with my 1.5" BJ spacers up front on my 86 pickup and never had a problem, no sway bar either. Just make sure your front shocks don't bottom out on compression and you'll be fine.

With the low pro bump stops and no diff drop, I was tearing through CV boots like crazy. I left the low pro bump stops on and did a 1" diff drop and have not had a problem since.

when you say "didnt need it" is that because you relaxed the torsions, or just because you weren't having boot issues?

No boot issues, I never touched the T-bars.

edit: I'm about to put low pros on the 89 4runner that I have now, same 1.5" BJ's up front, lift in the rear, double locked diffs and I wheel the hell out of it. I see no issues in the future with the bumpstops and CV boots/angles.

The wheeling here is ok, not many Yotas though.... lots of Jeeps. Come on down, we'll meet up and do a weekend wheeling trip/BBQ/beer drink (if you drink beer of course). I'm always up for a trip to the hills in a Yota.
