spun rod bearing

Hey, im new here, this forum is a wealth of info! Well, i just pulled my oil pan off my 93 4runner 3.slow (total PITA btw) and found a spun rod bearing, it was knocking really bad on my way home from fun in the mountains, loosing power, and dieing when i slowed down. What i need to know is, how do i get the engine out of the 4runner?! i have to replace the crank and i was planning on using the FE crank and rods. but i looked at the top of the engine, and there is no real anchor points on it, do i need a pull plate? or am i missing something?

In that case, find a bolt... find a hole it threads into.... thread it into hole... put chain onto bolt....

i just wanted to be sure, i mainly do chevys, they have the hooks, and i have an assortment of plates. the bolts just looked a bit weak, but ill tread carefully on the pull out. wouild a used FE crank be worth putting in there? (as long as it was in good shape)
