Exhaust? Need Help, done all the searches (Gadget)

First off I know this subject has been discussed several times but I need some pointers from all of you who have done some of these mods.

I have a 02 4x4 v6 exended cab tacoma. I want to upgrade the complete exhaust sysytem this spring but want to start buying stuff now so I can look for deals.

I am leaning toward:
TRD headers
24" magnaflow muffler and tip
and would like a magna flow high flow cat
all with 2.5" piping

My question is I have two cats so how do I go about setting this up? Or can I not use a high flow cat on my system?

Any help is appreciated.

Get the TRD exhaust, that's my suggestion.

I'm no expert, but would assume you would need two high flow cats.

I've got the TRD exhaust and it rocks!

Good Luck!

I had the TRD cat back on my '98 Tacoma and it sounded great, although it is pretty expensive. i wonder if you could just run one cat? something to think about I guess.

im assuming you're trying to save some bucks by building your own exhaust or looking for a particular sound? if you want to keep the noise levels down i would stay with 2 cats, or replace one with a high flow cat and use a resonator in place of the other.

get your headers on and take it to exhaust specialties in portland (on SE 7th ave.). i had them put the magnaflow stuff on my infiniti q45t and he did a beautiful job!!
but any custom exhaust shop with a mandrel pipe bender can hook it up. i loved the sound of it.
