hi there, new to this thread have owned my hilux for about 6months now, 1kzte turbo diesel auto, l.c coils and cranked torrsions with 15x8 steels and 32x11.5 nankang mudstars. its my daily truck so not too extreme but goes where i want it too

anyway problem started about a week ago, i had this funny rattle that sounded metallicy that would happen every so often inconsistantly then that went away and now my car vibrates inconsistantly but consistantly when decelerating especially bad when changin down to 2nd or 1st gears. Vibration feels like it comnes through the rear of the car
Car has had alignment and wheels balanced, and all fluids bar the front diff have been changed. also has had driveshaft greased, c.v.s are fine ad greased, engine and gearbox mounts are fine, universals are fine, just cant figure it out

any help or queries will be appreciated

See if your pinion nut has come loose. Unbolt the rear of the driveshaft and there'll be a pinion nut that comes unstaked. Also, jack up your truck in neutral and check for pinion bearing play.

 

Sounds like ujoints going out in a dshaft if making noise and vibrating as mphs increase/decrease.
