94 22re 4x4-noise under pass side floor
I have a 94 Toyota 4x4 22re mostly stock. Tires 30's., 168000miles. When I’m accelerating in any gear, I hear a weird noise at certain RPM's. The noise sounds like metal on metal and goes away after I reach a certain RPM. The noise sounds like its coming from under the passenger side floor near the shifter. I've looked under the car and attempted to isolate noise with no success. It only makes noise when in gear and at around 3000 rpms. Goes away after I go over or under the certain RPMs.
Any ideas?
On another note, any ideas for shocks? Looking for good ride and decent off road performance. Someone recommended KYB Gas-A-Just? Any reviews on the KYB’s.
