4runner to pick up front end?

Hi all. searched and found a lot of info about the pick up to 4runner front end conversion but could not find info on a 4runner to pick up conversion. Love the look of the 92-95 pick up front end and was thinkin might look good on a runner. Just wondering if anyone has done it? Pics?

Have a 94 4runner and would like to put 92-95 pick up grille, valance, headlights and bumper on. I dont see why it would not work but if it does not please tell me otherwise

You'll need the whole core support from the donor vehicle.

Interesting.
You're going back a half generation in body style.
Then you will realize how terrible the headlights are on the older vehicles.
Usually people upgrade, not downgrade. Whatever floats your boat.
Or you could get the Tundra conversion from hannemann (spelling).

I have been wanting to do something similar to my Runner, but what I want to do is take the grille, valence, lights, etc. from the 98 Tacoma, and put them on my 91 4Runner. OP, if you find any information on a swap like yours or mine, I would love to hear about it. (sorry for the thread jack). I think it would look pretty sweet tho!

you guys do realize that while he is going back to worse STOCK headlights...if/when he doesn the conversion..he now has the option to UPGRADE his headlights whereas with the stock 92-95 4runner front end....there aint a DANG THING you can do to em...except put HID's in and blind everyone (which is what i'm going to do rofl..gonna really aim mine good though)

you can upgrade to H4 housings, run FX-R Projectors with HID's and have the best lighting on the road...but not with the 92-95 4runner housings.

there's also a Tacoma front end conversion..but they're always pricey.

i have a picture somewhere where a guy put a 3rd gen 4runner Hood, fenders, grille, and bumper...onto his red 2nd gen....it was a "show" truck...had a big wing on the back rofl

Ive always like the 90-91 front end better. It has a more rugged and tough look
