Off white goo like substance on oil cap
When I took my oil cap off to top off the oil on my 22r, I noticed a white goo like substance in the hollow part of it. Is this a bad thing? Idk what it is.

moisture. sometimes normal if the rest of the oil isn't milky. P.S. there was another guy with a similar issue as well, not too long ago. 22R engine as well.

Ummm...sounds kinda like the milkshake you get when your head gasket blows and leaks coolant into your oil.
Might want to drop the oil and see. If it's whiteish, that's not good. My understanding is that driving with water in your oil is mucho no bueno. Head gasket time in that case.

Happens to me all the time, on all three of the Yotas I have owned, and my friend's Yotas...and other friend's cars here and there.
Its just moisture.
I get it when its below 0F. Not losing any coolant and oil is fine.

It does go low on coolant. But Im pretty sure there is a leak in the heating lines.

Yes most definitly. Its like losin oil. Bad for the motor and not too cheap.
No lmao. But I do know plenty of county mounties that would resemble that remark.

Yeah it's just a moisture build up... No big deal. It is usually caused from driving off a cold start. You notice that some Jeep Liberties have a wack load of that stuff on their oil cap when you take it off. That had me freaked once...
