Can't find FSM - Need help testing Oil Pressure Gauge

I can't find my FSM for my truck ('88 4runner, 22RE) and I'm trying to figure out how to test my oil pressure gauge. I have a multimeter, but have yet to find in my SEARCHES the procedure for testing the gauge. Actually, testing gauge and sender would be great, but I'd be happy with at least gauge.

I'm almost positive I've got a short in the harness for the wiring that connects the gauge to the sender (Yellow/Black), but I can't be positive until I start narrowing down a few things. I'm hoping it's easier to test the gauge and the sender than it would be to try to track down a short/break in the wire. That harness is impossible from the cluster area to the sender area. Ugh...

Thanks guys!

I know I know. I knew I could find a FSM online. Unfortunately my connection speed is ultra-slow and was hoping someone might have a direct link/notes on the test. I'll try to scrounge something up. Thanks
