The pictures are perfect. That cover is gonna look so sick on it!! Dont forget to replace that leaky valve cover seal; dont want no stain on the red.

 

lol, i hear ya, i picked up a gasket set from enginbldr so when i do my timing chain and headgasket ill try to put on all new gaskets and main seals, and try to keep the engine bay as clean and grime free as possible

 

It would be a good idea to clean the paint off of the sealing surfaces on the timing cover, and it would also be a good idea to get a new rubber o-ring seal for the distributor, they start to leak when they get old.

 

yeah i know, i was kinda p/oe'd when i painted it because the paint seeped through the tape, and i spent like a half hour taping the whole thing, then come to find out, it wasnt painters tape....

so now im just putting paint remover/stripper on a q-tip, goin over it and rubbing the paint off with a rag...its a pita, especially since i couldve avoided it
