Damn, overboard with painting of the grille?! Haha just kidding, first time I did mine (last winter, not a good time to do it) I did 2 coats primer and 3 coats paint after sanding. I just re-painted it a couple months ago (warmer weather obviously) because it was fading pretty bad. Looks good though!

You think Clear coat would help slow the fading? Im gonna do the fenders this coming week with the same Krylon Fusion plastic paint

if those flares are the same plastic as whats on your front bumper, dont even try it... the oils impregnated in the plastic wil leech and chip within weeks if not days...
rig looks good, cant wait to see where you take it...
where are you planning on taking it, btw? lol...
EDIT:mods and performance wise

Maybe I'll Herculin the rear bumper

to clean them and get rid of the blotchiness? some people have had luck with weekly treatments with mcguires or armorall... some use peanutbutter(no joke)...
and CONSTANT cleaning...
btw, keep wax away from them too, otherwise itll turn white wherever it touches...

Bout to post pics of the lift up, I made a mistake... and let my friends shop install the lift, the mistake was I didn't watch them do the lift and today while welding on the panhard bracket I noticed they screwed up the front OME struts.... The bottom cup that goes on the strut first to hold the spring in place; well.... they put it on upside down......
So, Im gonna call them in the morning and tell them they made a mistake, and see if they will fix it free of cost when I get time, It's riding fine but I'd feel better if they were flipped the right way.

You can do the rattle can truck bedliner spray or herculiner and it really wont fade mine looks great. Like said before dont let wax touch it or they will have white spots. I did mine with Rattle can truck bedliner spray btw. Truck looks great ready to see left pic's. I would be unhappy if someone messed up my lift thats why I did mine myself.

LIFT IS DONE! After a few 'idiot' moments, a week after planned the truck is fixed, let me know what ya think-

Panhard Drop bracket getting welded on

Almost Done

Bracket Finished

The mistake

All fixed, Lift is done! Love the way it turned out
View of the Rear...

Love the Tires so far and with a 50,000 mile warranty and $143 a pop for 285/75's... These will do just fine

Added Weathertech's awhile back

Added Superhides to the seats right after the lift

Shot of the CB mounted in the Ashtray space and of the Maglite mount

1/9/11 Got the lift and new tires on just in time!

Looks good, Simple question, are those custom brackets for the maglite or can you buy them somewhere? Also, is the CB mounted where the ashtray used to be? If so does it fit smoothly or did you have to cut away some of the dash?
