Distrbutor wiring... need help asap

Ok, I have a brand new 3vze in. it came with a new distributor. the kind with a pigtail and a square looking plug.

my wiring harness is setup for the blade style plug, not the square kind. I need help wiring this up. it is the only thing keeping me from driving this today.

Wires coming out of harness.

Yellow red black green

might help if we knew the year of your truck so we can look for the wiring diagram for you.

Putting info like this in your sig is a big help.

one thing that comes to mind is if that thing is actually compatible with your year, if it is then you would think it would have the correct plug.

that's funny because the 1990-1995 FSM wiring diagram shows White Red Green and Black which doesn't match any one of your combos. lol

so the motor and what you have were supposed to be both a 1994 4runner? because neither one accoridng to the FSM is matching up with the wire colors in the FSM.

ok that's better then that follows the FSM, only other thing is left is the 88-89 3vze which the fsm doesn't list the colors.

1988-89 dizzy

1994 dizzy

looks like you got an 88-89 dizzy my friend. Now whether or not the 88-889 works on a 94 is out of my league lol.

holy hell, why is it so hard to find these 88-89 wiring diagrams. the 88 SM includes only the 22r series. grrr lol.

thanks Mud Hippy that's what he has now we need to know where those wires go lol. the 94 manual does not cover the 88-89 wire colors/pin locations. The diagram for the 88-89 was posted on here but is no longer up.

and these are unreadable lol.

this one here if I blow it up I can see white red black green same as the 94. Yet this is the 88. is maybe the yellow wire on this go to the black wire and all the others go to their respective colors?

All the colors are the same except one I say wire the like wires and let the two mismatched ones be friends with each other.
