32x11.5x15 on stock rims

i just baught a pair of rims and tottaly forgot about weather they will actually fit my rims or not. I googled it and found people go both ways. some places I guess won't mount them unless the rim is at least 8.5 and other said it would work. does anyone know whether these will work or not?

IIRC, stock rims are 15x7" with 4.25" backspacing

i run 33x12.5 on stock 7" rims, at 25psi they are fine, heck i had a nail in one and it drove fine at 3psi (just a little wobble at 45-50mph) and at 3psi the rim still sat ~3 inches from the ground opposed to ~6 like the rest

^ do you have wheel spacers? i know that on my stock alloys, there is no way a 12.5" wide tire would fit without the inner sidewall rubbing on the UCA. if it did, it would be VERY tight. currently, with 31x10.5" tires and BJ spacers (which slightly increased the gap), the gap between the UCA and my sidewall is around 1/2"-3/4".

oh yeah, as to the comment on whether or not a shop will even put the tire on a narrower-than-recommended wheel...some shops will do it anyways, only they might not physically install the tires onto the vehicle itself (so they're not responsible). good example of that is how Costco will sell you bigger meats, and will even put them on your wheels, but will not physically install them onto your actual vehicle unless it either came like that from the factory or you drove it in like that. OTOH, smaller Mom and Pop shops will pretty much mount whatever you want however you want.

good point, I had this problem on my BMW recently, most shops wouldn't put a tire on that wasn't correctly rated for the speed rating. SEARS did them for me though. Especially when I brought up the fact that what do I need a tire that is rated for 120+ MPH when I am never gonna see it that high lol.

I ran 32x11.50's on the stock 15x7's with no issues.

I went to a 15x8 for the 33x12.50's though

no spacers, they do rub at full turn though pretty bad, but even when its on a lift the only place you can see it rubbing is the mud flaps
