I think my solenoid is bad or starter. Pops one time when trying to crank. I read I can jump start it with a screw driver. I turned the ignition on and trying to find the terminals on the solenoid but have no clue where they are. I see the positive wire but have no clue what to touch the screwdriver to. I tried putting it on the positive and then putting the end to the frame but nothing happend. If someone has a picture of where there at I might be able to get home for thanksgiving!

 

if the solenoid contacts are bad, trying to jump is not going to do anything. It's just safer to take the thing out and get it tested.

 

crap! I wonder if I tell the place whats wrong they wont replace my starter and just replace the contacts. All I needed was ONE MORE CRANK to get me home to fix it!

 

is it a manual trans?
