I searched and read through the stickies and wiki pages first, but if this info is available in here I apologize.

I have an 88 4Runner (22RE) that has been beaten pretty bad by previous owners. A friend is parting out two trucks, an 84 and an 85, both 2wd. I'm hoping to find out if the following list of parts I need are compatible. Thanks for any info!

Windshield
Front corner lights
Tail lights
Front fenders
Door panels
Power Steering pump
Oil Pump

 

oh man, I hate to tell you this but some of this stuff isn't gonna bolt into yours just because they're 2WD.
I don't think that the corner, tailights or fenders will work (if you wanna keep your runner stock).
I'm not sure about the door panels, it probably just changes depending on trim.
Power steering pump....are you absolutely sure that these trucks are equipped with ps?
I just ask because my '94 2WD didn't have or need it, so that might be a moot point.
so basically all I know will fit would be the first and last items on the list, sorry dude

 

door panels will be the same, fenders, corner lights will be different between 2 and 4 wd. Tail lights, I am not sure, but I wanna say they are the same.

Power steering pump should be the same. but not 100% on that.

Not sure on oil pump. I wanna say it should work as long as it's not one of the 85's that came with the 84 style engine. if the oil pump is in an 84, it will not work.

 

i know for a fact tail lights are the same. i replaced one of mine with a 2wd one

 

I really appreciate the info guys. So far I know I'll be picking up these items:
Windshield
Tail lights
Door panels

Now if I get fenders AND the front corner lights together, they should work, right? In my pics, the corner lights look identical to mine. I could even get the grill too if that's the hang up.

 

Any chance one of them is a grey interior with power windows? I'm looking for a grey passenger side power window switch
