I have an 84 reg cab lwb 4x4 pickup that I installed the 7 inch skyjacker lift system (T307PKS) on (bought a parts truck w it on it for $500). I have 5.29's and detroit lockers front and rear. The 84 engine needs a crank as well as a few other things. Well I just purchased a 94 reg cab 4x4 pickup that I would love to sas w some of these parts from my 84. I am not an extreme off-roader but we do ride trails every so often. I am not looking for extreme flex, and the suspension on my 84 has done me fine. I have noticed the rear springs are longer on the 94 so I'll have to go a different route, but would either the front or rear springs from the 84 work for my front on the 94? These things have huge arch on the 84 so I'm not worried about sag for now. I have done a ton of searching but haven't found anyone w this particular situation. Thanks for any and all info.

 

Well not to be a jerk, but if you had done a "ton of searching" you'd know that the aftermarket springs for SAS move axle forward for tire clearance. So if looks is the only reason you want to SAS, well that's alot of work for fashion. And money too. Better option for the 94 is ball joint or bracket lifts. Besides SAS rig sit 1.5" higher do to frame design so 8.5" lift with not very flex springs can you say roll over
