rebuilt 3vze fresh motor. dropped in everything connected put her in gear an after accelerating. when rpms hit 1,700 it would bounce or surge from 1700 to 2000, but if i realeas pedal she stops? i have heard similar problems but not quite the same.

 

The FSM states 5 possible causes for surging.

1.Fuel pressure regulator

2.Spark plug

3.Distributor

4.Injectors

5.Engine control module

alrite so i tried a few sites an they led me to the tps throttl positioning senns, i pulled the sensor an started her shell rev all the way now sounds great. tomarow im headin to get a tps an see how she dose hopefully i can get her on the road after. thas if ther nno suden probs thanks fer yur sugestion mudhippy
