Where do these hoses go?

Specs: 1986/7 4runner 22re 4wd Manual Trans

I have two hoses that I cannot figure out where the heck they go. 1 of them (the bottom one in the pic) has never been hooked up to anything since I have aquired it. The top one popped out of nowhere when I recently removed and replaced the throttle body.

The hoses seem to be coming off of this OR from the backside of it. I am not sure what this is or I would call it by its proper name, feel free to let me know what it is.

Anyone?

looks like the coolant lines to the iacv (idle air control valve) that mounts to the underside of the throttle body of a 22re.

Yeah I would say they are coolant lines that are supposed to go to the underside of teh throttle body: The idle air control valve.

Why they wouldn't be shooting coolant everywhere is beyond me... ;?

K, here is another picture....Sorry, only a partial shot. The two hoses with red circles are the ones that are accounted for and hooked up to the throttle body. The yellow arrow points to one of the hoses that only has half a home, the other unknown hose is behind this one.

Also, you can see part these two hoses in the very first pic, just to the right of the red circle.

no clue on that one. Only thing i can think of is if the part that you are referring to is or was at one point in time connected to a turbo. That's just weird. Only other thing is maybe part of some sort of tow package that cooled something (i'm reaching here)

I need to look to see if the are coming of the fuel rail or something like that. That is the only thing I can think of.

the only thing that's really down there or at least on my 22re is the pair system that runs from the intake to the exhaust from behind the head. That system connects to the resonator that comes from the intake. look here https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...-power-213202/
and here are some pics for ya https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...41/index2.html

IIRC they both end up on the upper part of the intake plenum.
It's been awhile since my IAC took a dump.
