Wheel Adapter to go from 6x5.5 to 8x6.5 pattern ?

My old man gave me basically a Brand spanking new set of 31x10.50/16.5BFG T/A KO's wrapped around American Racing: Outlaw II Wheels with about 250 miles on them. His truck went down and can't use them now. My first though was "SWEET" & "How can I get them on my 92' 4runner".

So My question is: Would a to 6x5.5 to 8x6.5 wheel adapter work and if so are there any certain manufacturers that any of you would recommend. Would there be any major disadvantages to doing this ? I've seen 8lug to 6lug adapters but don't know about going from a 6lug to 8lug. If it comes down to it, I may have to sell them if there is no way of using the adapters.

Vehicle specs: 92' SR5 4runner, 3VZE Auto, Stock Lift but soon will be adding a slight lift.

check out trail-worthyfab.com. thats where im gonna get the recentered hummer h1 wheels. they are a 16.5 beadlocked wheel and i think they can go up to a 4.5" offset. they are priced pretty decently
