well i had 33's on with the bad noisy rear and it was a dog so i sold the bfg mt's for some craiglist stock rubber as temp tires. i ordered these bad boys from www.treadwright.com 439 shipped to my door! so 4:88 with th 31's should be very nice. hopefully they wont be to short. marlin 1200lb clutch is next.

You'll love your 4.88s and 31s! I also used to have a 2wd 2nd gen with 3.90s, so I know... Let us know how you like it!

turns out the front diff was geared to a 4:56 and the rear was a 3:90.

sounds like a reverse cut high pinion front diff? but that doesn't sound right since it's still IFS right? looks like the standard ADD front diff to me definitely not a high pinion one.
