replacing fenders

I just bought another truck and it needs new fenders on it. Is there a good brand to buy or am I safe just getting some off ebay for around 60.00? In the past I have just fixed them but these are pretty rough.

I'm curious to see what others say, I'm in the same position, and need to replace both my fenders and the doors, I'm not sure what quality the fenders would be for $60 but it seems like a good deal.

I have a buddy who was going to buy a parts vehicle and sell me the fenders and doors, but I'm still waiting on that to happen, I don't to wait too much longer.

The ones on ebay are new fenders but I don't want flimsy metal and something that doesnt line up.

Junkyards should have plenty fenders. If it they aren't rusted, they're good fenders.

I have never seen an aftermarket fender fit worth crap. I would look in the junk yard for a Toyota one if you want a good fit. If you don't care about fit (like me) just get the cheap ones. Junk is junk.......

JC Whitney has some good fenders. I put one on my runner. I think it was like $45 if I remember correctly. It looked like the same thickness as the OEM.

i just ordered two fenders from usautobodyparts.com for $30+ each new and they're primed. the bolt holes i measured seemed to match the original (totally rusted) fenders. i'm sure i'll be able to get them to fit regardless. the junkyards here had nothing in trucks of my vintage. i also ordered a right door shell (this i'm slightly worried about). the door shell was also primed. they aren't OEM quality but they'll atleast improve the appearance of my truck (it runs like a charm). one of the local police departments tend to pull over the not so new/pretty vehicles. this IS NOT a cut at the PD. i think it takes some brass ones to walk up to a blacked out vehicle, especially at night.

Ahh, the junkyard, if only all the parts here in wv weren't rusted out worse than the ones on the truck now..., did find one good pasanger fender with a slight bend near the door once, but the slot/hole/whatever you want to call it is so much bigger than the light itself that it giant even funny! Like most of the rest of ya I'm in the market for a new pair of "well" fitting fenders, for as cheap as possible, around $40 would be nice!
