How Do You Remove Water Spots

Does anyone have any good tips for removing water spots from the windows on my 4Runner ?. I worked on one window tonight and if you run you hand over the window it smooth and clean, but the water spots are still there. So any tips on what i could use to remove the spots ???.

Clay bar or White vinegar, vinegar is a little old school the clay bar will work best. Just make sure you use the spray wax stuff with the clay bar.

Yeah i have heard the clay bar trick and the vinegar. When i detailed cars here in lewiston for rogers toyota we used acid. Just made sure to not use acid on the front window cuz it will make lines in the window!

X3 on the clay bar. Not necessarily designed for glass but still works pretty well

have you tried good ole fashioned Dawn Soap and HOT water?

2800PSI of hot water and Dawn soap gets anything off the vehicle pretty easily..

i had really bad water spots. Used vinegar, glass spot cleaners, nothing worked.

Then one day when I was buffing my truck I just ran over the windows with my PC polisher and zaino Z-PC and the waterspots came off after a few passes. Soooo much better.

Yea, i was careful and just tried it in a small spot. I swear these water spots are laughing at me. I might try some CLR next and see if that does anything.

Best thing I have found is glass stove-top cleaner it worked wonders for my glass. Try to avoid getting it on the black window trim though.

If the clay bar didn't work then I would try CLR next. Just be careful because it is strong stuff and I don't know if it will do anything to paint...

No updates yet, i have been told of a couple things to try, one is glass stove top cleaner and the other is called bar keepers friend. The stove top cleaner you can get just about any were, but i don`t know were to get the bar keepers friend from. (ive never heard of it before)
