Good spots to put subs in 1st gen 4runner
Hey all. I just bought a sheet of MDF and I'm planning on building 2 10" sub boxes and maybe two 6x9 boxes. My plan is to have them take up as little room as possible. My first idea was to build them into the interior panels more towards the drivers seat(this won't be a problem because I plan on making my own interior panels out of ply wood or diamond plating).
My idea for either the two 6x9 boxes or the 10" sub boxes is on each side in between the rollbar on the wheel well. I HAVE SEEN THIS ON YOTATECH SOMEWHERE. I can't for the life of me remember where though. If anybody knows whos rig has those please put a link.
I don't want to use up a lot of cargo space. barely enough room for me and all my junk to begin with

One thing to think about is lining the wall with dynamat or equivalent, it will keep the reverb down.
