i have a 84 350 out of a k10 truck installed in my82 toyota...i just replaced the plugs and now it is popping or backfiring out of the passenger bank. it does it at idle or revving it up it will blow flames out of the headers. My exhaust is just headers flipped upside down with glasspacks. it is running very hot on that bank also cause at night i can see the header glowing red. My question is where should i start to figure this problem out.

 

have you checked the timing in it and make sure its not crossed wired
