Cool Joe Mikuni's 1995 Hilux x cab build up thread.

My trucks been done for a while, just thought I post some pics.

*Trail gear 5 in. IFS elim. kit.
*Trail gear 5 in. classic rear kit.
*Trail gear long travel front drive shaft.
*5:29 gears front and back.
*Warn man. hubs.
*35 Boggers on 16x12 Weld rims.

I just used the stock 2 piece drive shaft, and its held up through alot of abuse.

you mean with a carrier bearing or one the has a slip yoke???

I think its both. It does have a carrier bearing, and it has a slip yoke at the end of the shaft. The 2 piece shaft comes from an x cab Toy, and the 1 piece shaft comes off of a reg cab Toy 4x.

Thanks, still gotta get it painted, mount my spare tire carrier, mount my hi lift jack, design a front bumper, maybe add 2 more rock lights, strip the tint and some other odds and ends. But its almost done.
