vibration from the driveshaft..whats next???

okay guys..after the vibration that broke the yoke of my rear driveshaft..I replaced the drive shaft...Im still getting really bad vibrations..Im going to replace the u joints on the front drive shaft...I tried pulling the front driveshaft..but the shaft kept turning..any tricks on how to lock it in place..and how to remove it..Also looks like there are 3 u joints..autozone shows on 2 ...any ideas on that..
also when driving..the truck wobbles..when slowing down the steering just moves from left to right about 2 inches..like a wobble affect..
any ideas on that..
Also when driving my shifter shakes and vibrates like crazyyyyyyy
One more thing is my brake light is on..but my emergency break is all the way down..but the light stays on
Thnx in advance..

brake light on: under dash, isnt there a switch to toggle the light on and off???? check brake fluid level?

wobbles: alignment? brake issue? TRE issue? bent tie rod? any play in your ball joints?

do you have a lift that distorts the pinion angle? maybe try shimming...

More than likely...

Did you match mark the flanges and replace them in the exact same spot?

Pulling means it needs an alignment... Pulling to one side has nothing to do with the rear DS...

Unless a rear drum is dragging...

no... and don't remind me.. I have a bad mid-shaft bearing and I think that's what lead to my last diff failure... It was the pinion...

Remove the stake nut and flange and put you another one in there.

Negative. That's called a Cardigan? Or CV joint... (see sun visor)

The mid shaft bearing holds the middle of the rear two piece drive shaft up.

i vote get it balanced, my camaro had a good shake in it and pulled a little bit when braking, got the ds balanced and it drives straight, stops straight, and has no wobble (they welded 4 big washers on the thing)
