bushwacker cutout flares question

i have a 94 4 runner and i know they dont make cutouts for our rigs.i have garden edging on mine to cover the tires.someone has a set of cutouts here locally for a 87 truck /4 runner.i can get them pretty cheap.will these even fit the body lines at all of the 94 runner?i know i will have to cut the rears at the door opening but im not too concerned with a perfect look or fit.
any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

no, they will not fit perfectly at all. if i were you, i'd go get some extenda flares. much better look with no drill or cutting out.

thanks
no i did not see that thread.ive been comparing pix of the 87 runner with pix of the 94 and im thinking that they might be close enough to try to do this.if i can get these for under 70 bux i might just give it a try.i have some rust forming where the moulding went around the rear wheelwells anyway.if i had to cut the rear up a bit i wouldnt be too concerned.
it looks like the fronts are quite close.the rears seem to have the gascap located in a different location and the flares seem to be cut out for it.again im not to concerned about how it looks as long as it isnt hideous.

Instead of trying to pound a square peg in a round hole, how about you buy the flares (make sure all the hardware is included), if you need the hardware or the rubber strip, go to your local 4x4 place, they'll have a ton of it.
Package it all and sell the flares for the 87. Use that money to buy flares for your vehicle.
You will be much happier with the proper flares.
Bushwacker flares fit PERFECTLY to the vehicle they are made. Every little contour and lip.
You'll just make a hack job of it if you try to fit 87 flares on your 94 4Runner.
PS: Truck and 4Runner rear flares are different. Fronts are the same.

Sorry, but you're S.O.L for the rear flares.
Buy from bushwacker cut outs for the front.
Then get some lawn edging or rubber floor mat (on the roll) or "long john" mud flaps (used on semi trailers).
With some sheet metal screws and washers, and a little time , you'll have a decent set of replaceable fender flares.
That lawn edging looks pretty decent.
