Will 2005 Tundra Access Cab coils (non TRD) fit on the rear of a '95 4Runner 4WD?
Crazy question, I know, but perhaps someone has tried.
I'm about to drive across country with a 2000lb box trailer and it would be in my best interest to replace the oooold shocks and saggy original springs on the 4Runner. I am trying to save money and may only be able to afford new shocks (not coils too). But if my 2005 Tundra front end coils (that are in perfect condition on the shelf in my garage) would fit my '95's rear end, I think I would have a pretty solid towing rear.
Anybody tried this? Would love your feedback!
Thanks!

I didn't think of that, Waskilly... That simply huh? I will measure. Assuming the diameter is the same, how far would you safely stretch height (I am guessing the Tundra coils are going to be a little bit taller)? Thanks.
