1990 toyota pickup 5" IFS eliminator

hows it going guys? i have been on this forum for a while now and have been living my dream through everyone of you and owe alot of what i have to you all.

this is what i am driving as of today. very capable, infact havent found n e where that i cant go (probably havent been looking hard enough)

3inch body and 4inch superlift suspension with inch and a half ball joint spacers. they have treated me very well but i am ready to take it to another level.

so now i have this

and this is it all shaved down and pretty much smooth and waiting for gears and for my kit to finally arrive! sorry about the blurryness

oh and i have to show you the beast that i am working next to! this is a yamaha breeze! haha its a 90cc automatic i have no idea what year it is but its great! this is what i used to pull the truck that i took the axle off of into the shop and onto the lift.

this is my gears, 529's with a spool. i set the gears, basically perfect the second try! oh and i am sure i will be buying inner axles soon.

wow, we must think alot alike wabbit haha because i wanna do my valve covers also. but im doin semi gloss black.

i put the engine on the hoist and really doint know where to start today haha. unfortunatelly alot of the harness had been cut up by some serious half assers at pull-a-part before me so i have to do a lot of soldering and heat shrinking so i think im doin that after work tomorrow. gotta start somewhere!

also the wires were cut the went to the automatic transmission. i have a manual so will i need any of those wires? i have all of them basically all the way up to the bellhousing and then they were cut before they start branching off.

i basically look at my engine all day and dont know where to start. other than the crossover pipe. i cant seam to find an answer that for sure tells me what wires i need to cut off and what wires i need to keep, they all so find the schematic and my mitchell manual only works when it wants too!

i have to solder all of my wires back to my ecm but kinda wanna know which ones first. i guess this weekend i will just solder them all and do my exhaust.

pulled valve covers and intake off today in between jobs. intake and throttle body were clean. but because of this engine sitting for several months underneath the valve covers where kind of rusted and the cams have a small amount of surface rust on them. my toyota mechanic said i am good to go though! tomorrow i will be taking the pan offf and checking the rest of it out.

i am in need of an entire engine gasket set, what are you guys suggestions? i have a napa across the street from work and they sell felpro or whatever variation of that name may be correct.

oh and when i went pick up my engine i saw this. its an 80's model first gen pickup with a 4cylinder diff and is not a dually, but this decal looked factory?
