i have a 86 22re efi pickup. I had a no start problem a few weeks ago due to a blown ecu after putting my truck in a puddle. Replaced the ecu truck ran good agian. Next day i go to start again and nothing let the key on and killed the battery. I charged it back up but still nothing could i of fryed the ignitor or coil? Ecu. It did through code 6 when i had it running. I have a fsm for a 85 4 runner that going to work for testing my 86 ignitor. my chilltons has the resistance on the coil and mine checked out ok.

 

could i of fryed the starter?

 

got it to run for about 3sec then dies throws code 6.
