installed 3 gauge pillar pod (pics)

installed it using one pillar from http://www.truckpillars.com/index.html and autometer gauges from jegs.

i decided to put the sender before the radiator and the additional cooler in the rubber line. so i made this out of brass fittings. notive the grounding wire placed underneath the neck of the sender.

then cut and positioned the assembly in the rubber line.

then drilled a hole and grounded it to the frame and ran the sender wire up to the pillar.

then installed all 3 gaudes. i have a mini tach(no tach in cluster, tranny temp, and volts(for when i install subs) i also have a fuel pressure gauge under the hood.

Yes, mostly. You won't notice it. I've had mine on for years and find it very useful!

I found one downfall to this kit, when I installed mine yesterday the sunvisor hits it!!! lol. Other than that it's a great product, great fit and finish.

Another thing to consider is that this website offers the pods in different colors (black, factory oak, and factory gray) which is I think is pretty cool....It is my understanding that the "factory" colors are not an exact match but are pretty close.

I just ordered my gauges (from Jegs) and pod (from the website above) a couple days ago and I plan on getting everything installed as soon as I receive everything. I will post pics when I'm done.

for a digital fuel level gauge, you need a digital signal sender from the tank. Make sure whatever gauge you purchase comes as a complete set, or you will have a heck of a time making things work together.
Let us know here if you find it, it's interesting.
