How can I test if my Fuel Sending Unit and Pump are bad / good?

I think I need to replace/check my fuel pump and sending unit. In the morning no matter what type of day, I have to crank the motor for 20-30 seconds before the motor will stay running.

It takes about 5-10 minutes for the idle to smooth out and get up to proper idle rpms. It starts and runs at like 100 rpm then slowly, I mean SLOWLY, get up to 500rpm then a little faster getting to 800-900.

However, if I drive the truck again say and hour later, it will fire right up and be about right.

Also I can get the truck moving, on flat ground up to 80 miles an hour but as soon as I need to go up an incline the speed and rpms drop radically, also when I am at a dead stop, sometimes taking off the truck is a slug, wont get out of its own way.

How can I check proper PSI for fuel to see if my stuff in the tank is toasted, also what is the proper PSI supposed to be for a 22re?

Truck also has 202k on the odometer.

I have a 92 pick up, there isn't one for that, do I just use the 93 pickup manual?
