axle swap & conversion build-up

22re 86 4runner
4x4 standard 5
-removing stock axles and aftermarket suspension parts
--swapping '84 Dodge ram 1-ton axles front and rear - leaf springs

I was thinking it would be easier to weld in new perches on the axle than mounts on the frame for the rear.
Not sure about the brakes...i havn't tried it before but i might just see how the 4runner master Cyl and booster do on the dodge brakes. Bad idea?

Youll need to upgrade that master cylinder.

I would give the brakes a try. As for the perches its much easier to weld them on the axle then on the frame. Plus the hangers and shackles would be on the outside of the frame.
